""Red Sun" by Nick Redmond is a great culmination of one man's talent. Redmond arranged and performed the vocals and most of the instruments on this CD. "Red Sun" has a couple of upbeat tracks like "Wall behind The Clock" and "Memphis," which is my personal favorite due to the Southern Rock lead guitar, but the majority of the CD spans several eclectic piano and guitar styles from the soothing opening instrumental of "Til' The Last Drop" to the worldly guitar driven "Mia."

Although, having just recently watched "La Bamba," the story of Ritchie Valens, the audio of, "They say that stars don't fall from the sky...but sometimes they do," referring to the plane crash that killed Ritchie Valens, Buddy Holly, and The Big Bopper, laid underneath "God's Gift" really stood out to me and complimented the mood of the song really well.

The only complaint I have with "Red Sun" is, whether due to Redmond's vocal style or the vocal mix, it's sometimes hard to understand the lyrics. Despite this, Redmond's talent is apparent and stands out above most others. - Vexar Entertainment, Memphis, TN 6/04/07
