If you have a Joe related Web site (even a Photo Bucket customs page) that does NOT turn a profit, I'll be glad to post a text or graphic link here!

If your Joe related site DOES turn a profit, I'll be glad to do an even swap of graphic links.

Depending on how you paint it and how much detail you put in it this is about an 8 beer job.

Supplies:

Cardboard Plaster Cloth - E-Z Form

Plaster Cloth Wrap | Crafts, Etc! ¨

(2) Rubber Toy Snakes

Graph Paper

Super Glue

Tacky Glue

Tools:

X-acto Knife

Scissors

1. Cut out the base for the throne out of Cardboard. I use graph paper to cut out small things I need square. The graph paper is 1/4" per inch (4 blocks=1 in.) Cut these pieces. First draw them out on the graph paper then cut them out and tape to the cardboard then cut from the cardboard. ( If your a good measurer (is that a word) you don't need the graph paper, but I'm not so I use it.

SEAT: 4"x1 3/4" Rectangle w/ 1" x 1 1/2" kickers (see the 1st pic) Score the cardboard w/ your knife where it will fold (just cut the first layer of the cardboard). 4 cuts total 2 on either side of the 1" seat and 2 where the kickers meet the rectangle.

SIDE PANELS: (2) 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" Rectangles

BACK: 6" x 3" Rectangle

HAND RAILS: (2) 1/4" x 1 3/4" Rectangles (1x7 blocks)

Fold the seat at the cuts you made and use tape to hold it together. Use the inside for most of the tape, but it's OK to put a thin layer over the outside edges (we'll cover it later anyway) Glue the side panels, back and hand rails on. We've got a throne, but Cobra Commander doesn't like sitting on just cardboard, it chafes.
